Virat Kohli has been scoring international hundreds at the rate of knots. The fact that he became the second fastest [in terms of innings] to get to 24 test centuries puts an exclamation mark on what has been an incredible run from the world's premiere batsman in the last few seasons.
Kohli has been as prolific as he has been quick. He now joins Sachin Tendulkar as the only cricketer to have scored 7 or more international hundreds in a calendar year five times, and the odds are he might do it once more if his recent run is anything to go by. Incidentally he has clocked a 1000 plus runs in tests for three years [2016. 2017, 2018] running now.
